Situated 500 metres from Fañabe Beach in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, GF Fañabe has a large year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. The colourful rooms have air conditioning and balconies.

GF Fañabe has a basketball court and mini golf. The wellness centre offers massages, sauna and hot tub. Two more pools can be found on the roof terrace. There is also a separate area for naturists.

Wonderful

Friendly staff and good choice of food. Stayed half board and liked the option of having lunch instead of dinner some days. Quiet location but walking distance to beach. Enjoyed the adult only sun terrace.

Some of the other guests but the hotel can't help that!

One night in the hotel.

We were in this hotel for one night. - The staff was very helpful. - We accidentally lost an expensive device in the hotel. We did not even notice it until the staff called us. We were happy to pick it up the same day.

- The bar did not accept cash (EUR). - The terrace door was broken. It was open the whole stay. And it was easy to get to our room if one wanted. - The safe was broken.

Lovely hotel, good location

Good location. Very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good. Wifi was very good.

The rooms could use a little modernisation here and there. But generally no issues at all.

Great for Families, great location, great hotel and staff

We were a big family group travelling together from Ireland (6 teenagers and 8 adults). Rooms: My husband and I booked a Suite for ourselves (HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT), we had a mini fridge, a huge balcony with ocean and mountain views, a big jacuzzi/hobtub, lots of space and storage space, #amazing. All the other rooms were also very big, clean and comfortable. Location: The hotel's location was perfect (close to the beach, stores, 4 different malls, restaurants and bars); Hotel in general: most of the staff is very VERY nice and always helpful (I could count like only 3 not nice ones from a bunch of 50); meals are buffet style which is perfect as you can serve yourself as many times as you want and they change a few things every day; the hotel has different activities for kids and adults every day; you get free pool towels for your whole stay;the hotel has a whole area for kids with a mini arcade, a spa, a shop (very reasonable prices), 5 pools (2 for kids, 2 just for adults, 1 general pool) and a hair salon. I highly recommend getting the half board package as it gives you the breakfast and 1 other meal (lunch or dinner) otherwise lunch per person its 22 euro and for dinner 25 euro, no drinks included (but you can find great restaurants around for way less than that).

Nothing really major, just a few things to improve: The food at the pool bar is not nice at all; they have fresh real fruit for the buffet but not for any cocktails (this is all around Tenerife, not just at the hotel, but would be nice for the hotel to make an easy effort to change this as they HAVE real fresh fruit available); the pillows are not comfy (this was a general feeling from the whole group).

Staff very friendly, very clean and comfortable. Great location. Food nice.

Not enough sun beds and pool area almost fully shaded by 4pm.

Wonderful

Our second time to this hotel and it didnt disappointll us. All the staff were friendly and helpful, great service. Lovely clean room big enough for the 3 of us. Breakfast and dinner were great with a good selection of food for all tastes. Loved the rooftop area, which included a bar, plenty of sun beds and they now have two small pools which is even better.

Extra bin in our room as only had a small one in the bathroom. But this is just a small detail and would not put us of coming again

a nice pleasant 5 day trip I had with my partner. my only issue was my restricted view as I am a person who likes to enj

the location is an excellent value for money. the swimming pool area was fantastic along with the roof top pools and sunbathing areas.

my room 139 was situated facing the local super market which had the building steel beam right in front of us virtually giving us no sun what so ever. if I book again I’ll probably book a higher room or a room facing the swimming pool.

Great value for money!

The staff are very professional and kind mannered. Also, the staff seem very down-to-earth and nothing seems a problem to deal with. The dinner buffet is great, better than some 5 star hotels. Half board is a great option, esp. with fussy children. My son loved the fresh pineapple and pomegranate. The location is good They have a kids' pool. Exceptional value for money!

The rooms are very dated and need modernising. Could have better toiletries in the rooms, the scent is important. The shower gel doesn't look appealing to use. No coffee / tea making facilities in the room

Wonderful

Hotel in a good location, Staff helpful and pleasant. Got me a taxi forr the airport home. Place spotless. Breakfast good. Never ate english but had fruit,$boiled eggs s tea and juice. And wee muffin cakes. Pools busy. 1 point no sunbeds atcall ground pool. Very selfish people. No kettle in rooms take your own. Loved it 5 star. 8 mins to beach down up steep hill So if you have problem walking maybe get cab up shared lol. Heat very hot you must be careful. Will go back but not for a while as we have a new pup. You must stay. £300+ b and b sun to wed. Worth every penny . Go Oh and Taxo i booked on booking .com. was delayed and he eaited for me. Helped me and was cheerful and kind. Bless you.

A nice cozy retreat

The staff was always happy and smiling. Always there to help. The food was great, always had a healthy option.

The hotel in general was showing signs of age... Although claiming sustainability they were still using the old tube "Eco" bulbs... They should have switched to LED years ago...

A really nice stay. Would stay again

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. they provided soap. Food was decent and staff was friendly. They even offered luggage and showers on the check out day along with extending the All inclusive options.

The wine offered as part of the all inclusive was not great. An actual grill with burgers, dog, fries etc would be ideal at the pool. They stopped food service in mid afternoon at all locations. That's hard for people returning from beach with no lunch. There should be more offered for the all inclusive than the very simple sandwich/yogurt/small salad.
